One had to be there and know those who were

WWII was one of those things that unless you were there either on the ground or those in the air flying cover you can’t really absorb, or appreciate the sacrifices, heartache and just plain gut wrenching feelings one goes through in combat in any military conflict.

The same goes for those that did the Vietnam gig. For those at home it was one thing. For those that were in country it was a whole other can of beans. Of course this does not diminish the mind warping of the recent gigs either, From Iraq to Afghanistan to all along the Persian gulf, what we bring home is not memories of sunlit beaches and parties. Although some movies and TV shows would suggest, no war or being in one is no fun happening.

The physical scars are one thing, the ones under the skin and under the scalp are another.

That’s one of the reasons, HazzardAyre, as well as AyreWolf Radio, prefers hiring Veterans, over all others as we too know the thoughts and emotions.

Many want to make money off of you and your, our service. We here in all parts of Confederate Star Media, want to give you back more than money, we want to give you back your honor and dignity.

Until L8R Aviators,

A civilization is built on what is required of men, not on that which is provided for them.
