So was just getting ready for my afternoon trip to the latrine and get a call from SpeedConnect, tech says he’ll be there in 20 minutes. Okay I say give me an hour so I can put clothes on. So with that, a new modem, and while slightly better still there is some bandwidth issues, but its better sort of. Still looking at megapath for our isp, but even that will be violated
Got my power bill today, and was thinking it was going to be a slammer, but only $65.00 I can live with that considering I’m running the AC nearly constant, and in the studio here more, only $65.00 is better than it could have been.
Okay then, the people on the road. I always think if all who drive drove like pilots who fly, see ahead, anticipate the reaction of others, plan a action , and then proceed , can you say more defensive driving and much safer?
A few years ago, I used to think it was only Utahn’s that drove like idiots. For years Utah ranked the 7th most deadly state to drive in, in the nation percapita. Thing is nobody took a survey of the idiots in Twin Falls, I have a correlation here, its got to be the LDS who drive the most stupid ways, as the city of Twin Falls is predominately LDS, as well as Utah, so putting the letters, LDS at the bottom of the drivers license would allow law enforcement to understand why someone would drive like a drunk, with out drinking. Is there a cure? Yes, all drivers ed courses, need to last at minimum of 6 months, not 2, more book study, as well as more time on the road, in other than luxury cars. How about a pick up or two with a clutch? Then teaching how to drive around trucks.
