They say revenge is best served up cold. I say revenge is sweet no matter what temp its served up with.
For as many years as I have breathed in broadcasting, being shunned by all so many, 1,000 watt KBAR AM 1230, becomes mine on May 1st 2012.
Signed the papers today, and what was KBAR will now hail as KDXB, Dixie Broadcasting of Idaho.
I remember all too many times walking in that old studio, being ushered out as fast as I walked in. The smug looks, unkept promises and the list, goes on. From what was tyrants have been brought to their knees. Now the Wolf, reins as a leader.
Now just got to find a place to put it.
But for those that have known me, for oh so long, and members of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, we have been working oh so hard and the sun now shines, finally. We own the damn thing. A few old time radio hosts being gave the boot, dynamic style rebel radio done Hazzard County style.
Its like a million Christmas mornings strung together.
Now the job is to find a place to put it and increase the power , plus increase the level of recruitment, for new hires.
And you thought your plate was full.
