Flushing content and if streaming don't work on consumer Internet, how come YouTube is so good?

Yesterday was supposed to be my week day off from being busy for the club or my company. Where I could recover and refresh my body, mind, and soul.
As always none was the case. First because of the web problems could not download hardly any music without it not skipping, or me having to reload, at least 3 times. It makes the short work longer, its not easy.
Which brings me to several questions. The first being, even at its worst , a few years ago, at least on a more stable platform like cable internet, streamed content from the likes as YouTube worked pretty good. In fact up until mid June mine here, even with SpeedConnect worked well enough to watch online TV without a mishap. The only conclusion I can fathom, is either, someone outside of my inner circle has found a way to invade the flyte path of my SpeedConnect, connection and is siphoning off the signal, two I'm being tapped by who knows who, or SpeedConnect got a hit on a tower and antenna and just wont say. Was there a main switcher somewhere that got toasted? Then too, did something happen at Google aka YouTube, somewhere? Seems as if everything else will work up to a point, but my music. Somehow I got this infiltration from some thing called LastFM, that I can't get rid of. That might be the case, but even up to  mid June even with that running in the background I got my music down, but then maybe what we're doing is a bit much for a consumer connection. 
The exploration into something else continues, but like many things, organizations and the like, money is not exactly overflowing out of our pockets or the preverbial money well is a bit low. Not kaput, just not as full as it was. The radio station has pretty much tapped most the resources. FCC Licenses and such are not cheap. Just the application fee is $5,000.00 then call letter registration fee of $2,800.00 and so on. It'd be easier to run an outlaw station. I would, but there's too many around here in the biz already that'd blow the horn. 
Years ago down around Hazzard(Hagerman) it wasn't as big a thing to run a outlaw station. To find us first off was difficult, two, with a spread out population of maybe 2,000 , nobody really cared, the community liked what we did and supported us. Being in the middle of Twin Falls with so many Gladys Kravits eyes and ears, the Feds would be at the door withing two weeks or less if we tried to go OTA as a outlaw station.
So what to do? Go Internet Radio. While we have a good team building that in Portland for us there at Abacast, the fact is, if we can't get it up, much less maintain a good Internet erection, the Internet Radio station would be like an old man, trying to hump a young gal, sure might get started, but be over in a second or two. There has to be , I hope a scalable, but economic medium here. Going to go talk today to folks over at both Cable-One, and see what can be done.
Alrighty then moving on here. 
I went to my Facebook page today, and like so many friends there, that are just more look at, drive by howdies and not much more, flushed or unliked a bunch of content, or Facebook postings. You'd think that when your commenting maybe you'd get a squeak from at least one or two. Nope. There's one gal there, that writes for Penthouse and is Deputy Enos' publicist. Who I keep as a friend, but here lately even she is ignoring me, must be too busy. I ask once again, if your going to ask to be a friend , but then ignore someone that wants to at least say howdy, why even ask to be their friends or mine? Read the blogs, and such fine. Subscribe to our pages, great, but do not patronize me or the club if all you want to do is tease. Then there are the porn posts. I have been getting many here lately. Why? Is somebody secretly subscribing me to these things, has my account been hacked? If so how can you tell? Going to look at that Thursday.
My last question though is this, and I don't doubt the guy doing some research into our own Internet pipe is right, but if streaming don't work from standard ISP's, then how come its only been a month now that I've been doing okay? And two, if consumer internet wont support streaming even YouTube or HuLu, how come they keep working?

Morning Ayre

Good Saturday, wish I was in Oshkosh, or even in route to Sturgis, bet your next tank of AV Gas I'll be at one of those next year.
I try to be patient with the limitations of a very rural Idaho. I remember mid year last year, I heard from KPVI' FoX News at 9, a report that said Pocatello is the absolute slowest internet area of all in the USA. With mine being based only about 60 miles north of Pocatello in Idaho Falls, which is why my IP Address is always Idaho Falls, reality is I'm 175 miles west southwest if Idaho Falls, in Twin falls, but hey its Idaho. The report stated faster can be had if one wants to pay for it. Right now Confederate Steele Media our subsidiary for and backbone for both HazzardAyre and WyldAyre Radio, is looking at doing up our own pipeline. Cost is estimated at $350.00 a month, but I'll bet a steak at the Wolf's Den and a bottle of Jack at the Sheeps Pen, that it'll come in just under $500.00 a month. But if that's what it takes. The reason, is simply due to time restraints I don't think we're going to meet the filing deadline for a OTA station, but are working on a Internet station here. Which is good, more over the uplink concept to be one if not the ONLY radio shows from Idaho, airing on XM/Sirius, this demands a bigger, stronger and more reliable streaming able internet connection. So we are working that way.
What else? Oh yes, plans for the BlackSheep/AyreWolvez reunion AyreShow are on target. Location will be in Wendover Utah at the Wendover Airport. Deets in a few ayremiles.

Just because it smells good, don't mean ya'll got to eat it

One has to configure why a young gal looks at an older guy.
Example, got a friend request earlier today from some gal named Bailey Peterson. Says she lives in Carolina somewhere. Says her kin folk dies and are you smelling this yet? Looking for love, and all this. As I questioned a bit further said you buy a plane ticket. Nope she didn't have any money. Maybe, but the feeling was , she wanted money for a plane ticket. My suspicion ? I wire money for the plane ticket, I never see her, and gone is $500.00. So I suggested she buy a bus ticket. She comes out we see if we got along, if not she's on a one way ticket, bought from here and her on the plane. 
How or why would a young gal do this? To defraud an old Marine out of $500.00. What put the brakes on this was when I explained I was a slightly shorter, slightly chunkier version of Jax(Jackson) Teller of Sons, that she decided this might not be her kinda thing, as soon as I said our air club was just exactly like Sons, only we fly instead of ride bikes, off went the light. 
Wonder how many guys get suckered into that kind of thing. More over how many has this gal conned and does Facebook know what she's doing?

Ever noticed that your ISP's performance gets muddy close to the time you pay your bill?

Have ya'll ever noticed that your Internet Service Provider' performance gets a bit muddy and slow, to hardly enough to bring up a web page, about the time your bill comes due? Seems after you pay it, the dang thing works really good.
I have been having this problem with my trusty SpeedConnect, lately. First of the month good, middle of the month just before the bill is sent out still smooth, but when that bill comes out, oops the speed slows to just above a crawl. Now not saying that its completely SpeedConnect' problem, but truck drives by the signal lost signal, for a minute or two, think late night is better? Only slightly. Don't know if SpeedConnect's tower got smacked or something but there is a wrench in the fan somewhere. 
One thing we're looking at is our own pipeline. Sure it'll cost us $400.00 a month , but can you say a true 100mps connection? 
Until then its doing duty with 8mps thing is I'm only getting 4 download, and maybe 3 upload. 
Let's get this fixed.

A beer fest? Really can you say DUI?

Now I'm not wanting to kill an idea of having a good time with a few brews. But here's the gig, The Twin falls Rotary Club, is having a Beer Fest this weekend in the city park here. Great, drunk brawls, irritated guys over gals being a bit too much flirty after a few brews too many and the big one, DUI. If you don't think the money hungry city of Twin Falls and their big bad super bears ain't going to be all over that, I'll buy your next annual inspection. And yet, trying to get our AyreShow in the eyes of the Tragic Valley, is just a mission impossible. See thing is whether its the Hazzard Nationals, or something none drinking event that we produce, the Slime News amongst others throw a wet blanket on the concept, to where our events migrate to Utah somewhere or at least Eastern Idaho. But oh that's not good, might soil a kids mind, yet we can have a gig, where everybody is getting drunk. Good deal. Seems as though that's been the thing since we stopped, producing the Hazzard Nationals in Hazzard in 1986. Maybe do that again. 
Heading over there mid month.
Finally want to announce the formation of the committee to produce what will be called The AyreWolvez , a docudrama, more drama than much of anything else. The film will be about a group(us) flying fire suppression and air rescue, as the main job, but solving crimes and espionage at night or as a secret cover. With the Lady as the main aircraft. Think of it as Knight Rider with wings. The film will debut on WyldAyre TV. 
If you find yourself tempted to go to this Beer Fest which will cost you to get in and be over priced, for the brew and food, park at a parking lot at least several blocks away and walk to the event.

Some days just can’t get it into second even if you double clutch it.

Another flyte into the nyte.

Let’s see, most of the AyreWolvez flew out to Oshkosh, leaving me here to keep the fyres here burning, and tending to chores.

Had a fairly good day, with going down to Hazzard to snag lunch at the very place that the club all of the club first was fyred. Mr. Martin there thinks that memory should be preserved as we do. He says he’s going to get the Slime News’s interested in doing something up on it. I say right, have you seen anything in the Slime News about the club? At least in the last decade? Under different publishers we were numero uno, in those dull bird cage lining pages, yet today, shy of at point the Slime News don’t like the club. As one said it not too long ago , once many hated us, now they want to be us. Whether its on a Harley, or having a Corsair, or Bell 222A strapped to our back. Don’t matter, biker or pilot, they all love us now. Wait until there’s a major something they all know is part of us, then watch the local media come crawling, its going to be Herman they talk to then.

Any way clubs working on putting a memorial plaque at the Snake River Grill commemorating the founding of the Knytes there. The AyreWolvez no. The AyreWolvez was founded in Roy Utah in 2004 so we’re not included that way, but the Knytes are our brother club so we are there, kind of like a family wedding, your not there for the marriage to begin with but there by family obligation for the anniversaries.

Here’s important 411, when sitting at a traffic light, go for your Skoal, and guaranteed the damn light will change. Never fails. Its like there’s some gal sitting at city pd, watching in the camera, sees you get ready to load your lip or light a smoke and says oh goody, now I’ll change the light, just to piss you off.

Finally , club is getting me into a Subaru. Really? Guess better fuel economy means more deployability, so oh well.

And as I put this entry into the hangar, said adios to Todd today, guess he’s being reassigned, so they got this butt maggot, to try to replace Todd. My theory, ain’t going to work. Wasn’t too tickled with Todd, but shit for a PSR that took Alliance Family whatever 2 months to find, then Todd moves me from Bliss to Buhl, then to Burley, which I wouldn’t have, if he’dve just stayed out of it, then he helped move over, plus three moves after in Burley then back to Twin Falls when GodFather, took over the financial duties, and now they give me a new idiot. Watch how fast this crashes and burns , plus watch how fast I’m doing this thing solo.

So the questions come in faster than bullshit being flung at ya'll at a PBR event. Thing is as I always post, these writings, if someone wants to know, the Knytes or AyreWolvez, I repeat, READ THE DAMN BLOGS!!! 
I do not just sit here during radio shows carving these things out for my health, they're there, so not only club members knows what's going on the club, but those wanting to be members. 
Yet invariably , people see the link, but few go read what's being written. Just amazes me, at the amount of stupid, in today's society. 
Simple direction yet few follow.
